[John seems somehow distracted when he turns on the video today. He's sitting at the kitchen table in his house, chin propped in his hand and eyes on a Pokéball he's rolling idly on the table in front of him.]

You ever wonder what it is that determines what happens to a Pokémon after its trainer goes back home? I mean, I've thought about it before but never really thought about it if that makes any sense? This is really the first time I've inherited one that wasn't from a friend so it just got me thinking.

Granted, it originally belonged to someone who was... [He pauses, seeming almost hesitant to finish that sentence. Or perhaps unsure of how he wants to end it.] ...a friend. At...one point in time... [He trails off, brow furrowing as he stops rolling the ball around.] So maybe it has less to do with Eridan and more to do with her.

[He leans his chair back on two legs, picking the ball up and passing it back and forth between his hands, finally looking at the camera.]

So yeah. Anybody have any good conspiracy theories on the matter? I'm curious.

[[Little lady is surprised by the sudden movement and squeaks, but otherwise doesn't fuss much. And the Quagsire and Musharna will attempt to lead him out of the house.

[The attempt is an overwhelming success, as John is just following wherever the two lead. No complaints.]

[[Alright, out to the tall grass juuuuuust outside of town!]]

Jeez, you two this is quite the trip here...

[Seriously like...what do you have to show him all the way out here?]

[[He's now gesturing to some of the wild Pokemon nearby, and then...

Moving to try and 'smooth talk' one of them.

Apparently, John, Prick feels you need to get some new Pokemon action.

Yidhra looks like she is not impressed with this plan at all.]]

[For a good minute, John just looks a little confused. He looks to Prick, then up to Yidhra, then all around them. Then, finally, his own face takes on a rather unamused expression.]

Prick, did you really drag me all the way out here to watch you hit on the ladies?

[[He stops, looking back at him.]]

Quag!

[[He tells the lovely lady he's trying to talk into making some eggs with him that he'd be right back and moves behind John, pushing him towards another lady.

Come on man, he brought you out here to do it with him!]]

[John stares blankly at the wild Pokémon before him before looking back at Prick.]

You're joking, right?

Sire.

[[Nope. He's not.]]

[John sighs and grabs Prick by the flipper, turning and making his way back towards the house after a quick apology to the wild Pokémon for disturbing them.]

[Gdi, Prick.]

[[And he begins complaining. Hey! He was hitting on those girls! What are you doing!! This isn't fair!!!

At least Yidhra is following without complaint.]]

[Prick, he will literally drag you through the city if he has to, so help him. Once they're in sight of the house again though, the Quagsire's complaints are enough to get John to actually respond to them instead of trying the ignoring technique (which he doesn't really even like anyway).]

Prick, I appreciate the thought. Really man, I do. But I am a taken man already, remember? Kind of have a thing going with your trainer?

[He leads the small Pokégaggle up the front porch steps, Bee still in one arm, the other hand still firmly keeping hold of Prick's flipper.]

And she's all the lady I need. Sometimes it's almost like she's a bit too much for me, ahahahaha...

[[And now he's the huffy one. Bee doesn't understand, but when John starts laughing - even if it is sort of self-depreciating or sarcastic - she sort of snickers herself.

She doesn't know what's funny, but something is, so....]]

Oh come on. You can go hit on chicks later. [He nudges the Quagsire.] But as is, I didn't tell Rose where we were going and I wouldn't want her to worry. Where is she, by the way? Do any of you know?
