[It's kind of hard to miss the three very large ghosts, a Dusknoir and both varieties of Jellicent, floating behind John when he turns on the feed today. Though they are hardly the only ghosts in the room. A Froslass floats lazily around the room, occasionally sending a stream of snow at the Dusknoir or the Spiritomb that sits on the floor. Both of the ghosts in question are doing their best to ignore this, though the Dusknoir Seems to be doing a better job of it. On John's shoulder sits a tiny Litwick.]

So if it's been over a year since an ectobiologist actually did something involving ghosts and biology, can he still call himself an ectobiologist? [There is a very slight pause.] No! Of course he can't, duh!

[John pans the camera over to the bed where there is a small pile of eggs wrapped in knitted blankets of varying colors. A Golett sits next to the eggs, eying them curiously. There are probably somewhere around twenty eggs or so, of several different varities:]

So, as you can see, I did something to fix that! [The camera pans back to John.] Now as much as I would like to, I obviously can't keep all these eggs myself. Pretty sure that would max out my PC storage. So I am sell--

[He cuts off as the rock-looking egg with the swirl on the front is shoved in front of the camera. It is followed shortly by the Golett's face. It nods excitedly, looking about as happy as is possible for an animated rock-ghost and points to the egg.]

Giant...

[The Gollet just keeps pointing, spinning the egg around so that it's visible from all angles. Oooo! Aaaaa! you are impressed and you want to buy this egg. But as impressed as you are, the same cannot be said for John who is now trying to push the Golett out of frame with little sucess.]

Giant, come on stop. You aren't helping! Just kind of inturrupting hones-- no Chandel, not you too!

[There's a happy almost squeak-like noise from the Litwick as she flies over to the bed to try and "help" too, john following after her. Though the eggs are much too big for her nubby little arms. It's a shame this part can't actually be seen on film, it's actually quite cute. Before this situation can get any more out of hand, the Dusknoir moves over to the camera, easily moves the Golett out of the way, picks up the camera, and ends the feed. A few moments later, a text is sent out.]

Ghost types, hmm?

[ He doesn't have one of those yet. And besides, talking to one might be interesting. ]

I'd be interested in one of the cheaper ones.

Well the cheapest I have left would be a Litwick. Which are these little guys, right here. [He points to the small candle that is once again sitting on his shoulder. She makes an almost coo-like noise and waves at the camera, smiling brightly.]

[ Joshua stares at the feed for a moments, then giggles. ]

Is it also a fire type?

Yup! Hehehe, kinda obvious, isn't it?

In this case, at least. Though I wouldn't have necessarily pinned it as a ghost myself.

Since I don't have a fire type, I suppose that works out even better. I'll take one.

[ Having leftover spending money from a gym victory is proving even more convenient than he thought. ]

Fantastic! [His Litwick spins around happily. Yay, somebody wants one of her eggs! Yay!] Just let me know where I need to send it and I can have one of my birds on the way, asap.

I'm... hmm. [ Hold on for a moment while he gets out his map and stares at it for a couple moments. ] If I have to guess, I'd say I'm on the southern half of Route 34.

So a couple days outside of Goldenrod, huh? Well unless you have a flying type big enough to manage the delivery that you want to send yourself, there's two ways we can do this. I can send one of my birds to try and find you directly on the route. Or I can have him drop it off at the Goldenrod pokemon center and the nurses can hold on to it for you until you get there.

[ There's a pause as he looks off screen, studying his Sigilyph a small distance away. ]

I don't believe I trust this one to not get lost himself. I'll just get it from the Pokemon Center. Will they hold the money for you?

There's actually a way to do wireless money transfers on the gear. One of the nurses can show you when you pick up the egg. So that won't be a problem at all.

I'm John Egbert, by the way. What's your name?

I'm Joshua. It's a pleasure to meet you.

These things just have all sorts of uses, don't they?

They are definitely a very useful tool though. Pretty handy, you could say.

[John stop that was not a funny pun...]

What other unusual features are there to these?

Well there's the games and music applications, if you haven't seen those already. There was a guy from my world who managed to program a few simple apps for text to speech and speech to text, stuff like that. And then there was another guy who was working on a program to lock your gear so that your pokemon couldn't play with it and accidentally start filming stuff. No idea if he's still around or if he ever actually finished it though.

That last one sounds useful, though I haven't had any incidents myself, yet. [ He giggles. ] I suppose phoning home was too much to hope for, hmm?

Yeah, little too much to ask for there. Which is a shame because just think of all the wasted E.T. references.

Hardly what I was thinking, but that works as well. You're not eager to reach those from your own world?

Well, I lucked out. Almost all of my friends are here already! So I can just talk to them in person!

There is one person I would kind of like to talk to again though, but...a phone won't really help me with that.

[Unless there's a 1-800 number to the afterlife or something.]

[ Josh has one! Might only be valid in his own world, though. ]

Really? I don't know of anyone else from my own world here. How many are here?

Mmm...not as many as there used to be. At one point there was like...eighteen of us, I think? Maybe a little more? But we're down to just six now. People from my universe come and go a lot.

[ Eighteen is a lot. ]

Hmm. Is this world very similar to your own?

Uh...sort of but not really? In my world, this world is technically a video game. Or Kanto is, at least.

Strange. That's closer to my world. I'd imagine that worlds that are similar to this one are more likely to have people get stuck here, but that might not actually be the case.

I don't know that I have ever met anyone from a world similar to this. It seems like most people I meet are from different a different version of Earth than mine. Or they are aliens.
