RELEASED (02/14/14)
• Name: Shea
• Type:
• Lv. 45
• OT: John Egbert
• Timid nature.
• Quick to flee.
• Egg Groups: Bug/Human-Like
• Egg cycle: 16
• 3-4 Eggs per month
• 4-5 Days to hatch
Caught in Goldenrod City at level 18. (2/14/13)
Doubles the power of this Pokémon's "not very effective" attacks.
• Caught during the Valentine's blackout.
Personality:
It's no contest: Shea is John's shyest Pokémon. She is very easily intimidated and frightened, rarely making eye contact with anyone, be they person or Pokémon. Shea actively enjoys being inside her ball, and sometimes tries to get back inside after being summoned, especially if it's during the day. Oddly enough, she does a little better once it's dark out. For this reason, John only trains her and Wynn after sunset.
It's obvious to everyone with a brain that she has a thing for Wynn, which is pretty much the reason John caught both of them. He is hoping to sort of coax the two into a relationship to help boost the number of Volbeat and Illumise in the wild. The blackout was a good idea and all but surely they need more than just one day to boost the numbers, right? And these two need a heck of a lot of help...
Reason for release:
Though both Wynn and Shea are still a little on the shy side, John did successfully manage to get the two together. With his own extended "Operation Lovebug" a success, John released the happy couple on the anniversary of their capture. The two don't seem to have strayed too far though, as they still show up in John and Rose's backyard from time to time.
