But had it not been for whatever it was that made me think that proposing RIGHT NOW would be a good idea then I wouldn't have done it last night. It wouldn't have been for another few years. Like...maybe when we were twenty or so? Twenty one maybe?

But no I...meant it. It wasn't some whimsical idea that I had just last night. I'd already been thinking about it just in the context of 'this is how I'm going to propose to Rose when we're older! And for the record the original plan definitely did not involve cake. It was more of a traditional, down on one knee at a nice candlelit dinner sort of thing.
