[Now that the wong has wound down somewhat, John's starting to come down from his happy high a bit. Not that this really means much since he's pretty happy anyway. Sure he was a little confused to find himself in a room in the Cianwood hotel this morning considering he was in Goldenrod last he remembered. But that's beside the point!]

[The point is, clearly, the small pile of eggs visible on screen behind him, being tended to by a Lopunny in a pink sweater, an Espeon, and an Altaria. John clears his throat. Rose has entrusted him with selling the eggs while she's out taking care of other things and dammit he is not going to screw this up! PROFESSIONALISM IS KEY.]

Good afternoon! My name is John Egbert and as you can see, I have a few eggs here that need homes. I know what you may be thinking: [He puts on a nonsensical voice.] 'but I just got an egg yesterday, John! I really don't need another one!' And that's fine, you are entitled to your own opinon but let me just ask you this. Do you know what's better than one freshly hatched baby pokemon? [A pause and then an excited:] TWO freshly hatched baby pokemon! Or more! Seriously, you can never have too many baby pokemon! Especially when they are something as adorable as an Eevee, Swablu, or Buneary! Which, in my humble opinion is pretty much the most adorable pokemon there is.

Uhm... [He falls silent. Where was he going with this? He kind of got lost in his spiel there.] Oh right! I almost forgot. Egg moves and prices! [He pulls a crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket, unfolding it and reading it. Seems Rose left him a note so that he wouldn't forget...you know. The most important part of selling eggs. Though John seems to take some issue with what's written on the paper, quirking a brow and mumbling to himself for a minute.] Are these really the right prices...? [And then he remembers that this is still filming.]

Oh! Um, I am just going to send this info as a text since it will probably be easier than having me list it off verbally. Why didn't I just do that from the beginning...

Of course you can! I'll send Tripp over with it as soon as I know where to send all of the rest of them. That way he won't have to make multiple trips. Hehehehe. [Yeah that pun was terrible and only would have been slightly better in text format.] Are you still in Goldenrod? Rose and I are in Cianwood now and I am really not sure how that happened.

Awesome! [Even though it was terrible, Jade still can't help but giggle at the pun.] Dave and I both ended up in Celadon City... I have no idea how that happened, either.

Oh so Dave is with you? Cool, that saves me a phone call. Vriska wouldn't happen to be in Celadon with you guys too, would she?

The purple one, Espeon, is just one of the forms that Eevee can take. There are a bunch of options with that one.

I've never heard of the other two, but an Eevee egg sounds awesome. I've been looking to get my hands on one! So how do we do this thing?

Excellent! I was thinking... a Mawile egg for one of your Swablu eggs? It has the egg moves Ice Fang, Fire Fang, and Thunder Fang. But if that doesn't interest you, I have quite a decent amount of other Pokémon to choose from.

Ooo. That sounds like quite the interesting moveset. But what exactly is a Mawile? I haven't heard of that species before. Well I guess most importantly, what type is it?

[[The reason she left John in charge of the eggs, rather than selling them herself like she usually would, wasn't exactly to see if John could succeed. She was actually quite confident he would.

She just needed some time to think. Because boy she sure did wake up to a ring on her finger that looks suspiciously like the one from her dream. Meaning the one John proposed to her with. Meaning that...sure did happen.

And so she quickly jotted down notes and prices, handed the paper to John and left him in charge.

It wasn't until she left that she actually noticed the change of scenery. Cianwood isn't big...but it sure is gorgeous. Even though New York was a state practically on the ocean, she couldn't remember too much of actually seeing it. Or the few times she did, it was nothing to really write home about. Large bodies of water are far more beautiful without buildings and city surrounding you, she's come to find. When there's a beach to actually walk.

And it's great for clearing your head.

It's late in the afternoon when she finally returns to their room, take out dinner in hand and ring still on her finger.]]

John, I brought home dinner. And...well. I'd like to talk to you about something.

[...haha. ha. Yes he succeeded. Sure he gave away two of the eggs for free but it's not like he could charge Jade! She's his sister for crying out loud. Plus the important thing is that the eggs are going to good homes, yes.]

[When she enters the room, John is occupied with wrapping up their Valentine's gift eggs in a small nest of blankets on the floor by the heater. Sure this is probably a fire hazard but the eggs will be totally warm this way! ~~Rose stop him before he sets the building on fire.~~]

Alright. What's up?

[[Stare.]]

First of all, you may be putting those blankets a tad too close to the heater. You don't want to set the eggs on fire...And second. Let's sit down for the second point.

Oh...oops. [He scoots them away a few inches and pulls the blanket over them entirely to compensate.]

Better?

[He'll address the second issue once he's not in danger of setting the eggs on fire.]
