[When John clicks on the feed today, he's accompanied by not one, but two Lopunnies. The One of them (Casey, judging by the pink sweater) is half-cradling the other and stroking its head, occasionally making shhh'ing noises. A Shinx lays next to them, and in John's lap rests the head of the saddest looking shiny Gallade you'll ever see. John himself looks exhausted, though moreso in the emotional sense than the sense of needing to take a nap.]

[He stares at the screen blankly for a good minute before finally speaking, in a voice that sounds as dull and tired as he looks.]

Vriska Serket has gone back home. If any of her Pokemon found their way to you, please let me know. I want to make sure they're all accounted for. And if they did just...promise me that you will take good care of them.

[He falls silent again, looking as though there's more he wants to say. In the end, he can't figure out what to say and ends up tightening his grip on the (what appears to be) a piece of twine clenched in his right hand.]

Well yeah but if she knew about us right off the bat, wouldn't she be less likely to?

Not necessarily. The heart is a fickle, cruel mistress.

[He sighs, rolling over onto his side so that he's facing Rose, curling up a little.]

It would still be better if she doesn't remember. Less unfounded guilt on my end, less heartbreak on hers. Everybody wins. We could just be friends.

[tentacletrainer]

[[She doesn't say anything to that. Their views were different, and while she disagreed this wasn't exactly the time to do that. Instead, she runs her fingers through his hair instead.]]

[ghostytrainer]

[He hums lightly, eyelids drooping a little. His eyes and cheeks are still wet but the tears have at least slowed a bit.]

That feels nice...

[tentacletrainer]

...does it? [[Good. That was the point.]]

[ghostytrainer]

Mmmm... [He nods.] Yeah. Really nice.

[tentacletrainer]

I guess I'll just have to continue doing it then, won't I?

[ghostytrainer]

[He sniffles before giving a light chuckle.]

You won't hear me complaining.

[tentacletrainer]

Good. Complaining is not an option tonight. [[Nope. Apparently only head and neck massages.]]

[ghostytrainer]

[Oh...ohhhhh... Can you feel him melting a little, Rose? Because he's melting a little.]

You're the best, Rose. Have I ever mentioned that?

[tentacletrainer]

A few times. But I still maintain that I am only mildly sublime.

[ghostytrainer]

Well you're wrong. You're definitely the best there is.

[He takes a few deep breaths, shifting a little to make himself more comfortable.]

Effectively making me the luckiest guy in the world.

[tentacletrainer]

Well considering who you're engaged to, John.

[ghostytrainer]

[He rolls his head a little to look Rose in the face, quirking an eyebrow and looking slightly confused.]

The...best person in the world?

[You've confused him now, Rose. First you say you're mildly sublime but now you're agreeing with him.]

[tentacletrainer]

No, no, most mildly sublime. But, I am the Seer of Light. Luck is my department.

[ghostytrainer]

Oh! Oh right. That's...right. Haha. Wow now I feel a little stupid.

[So obvious in retrospect...]

[tentacletrainer]

Don't feel stupid, John. There's nothing to feel stupid for.

[ghostytrainer]

Mmm... [He rolls his head back to its original position of staring at Rose's midriff and falling silent once more.]

[tentacletrainer]

[[And she returns to massaging his neck and then moving to his shoulders.]]

[ghostytrainer]

[The more she does it, the more his eyelids begin to droop.]

Mmmm...can we just...sit here like this all night?

[tentacletrainer]

If you want, John, that's what we'll do.

[ghostytrainer]

And you say you're only mildly sublime.

[He chuckles.]

Don't worry, I won't make you sit out here all night.

[tentacletrainer]

Oh, so you'll be taking me back to the bedroom?

[ghostytrainer]

Oh my god. [He gives her thigh a sharp pinch.] Don't say it like that. I will so leave you out here on the couch.
