but, calm down, i don't think you really messed up. i mean if he wasn't angry about it then chances are he might feel the same way?

it was actually pretty brave of you, most people don't skip straight to kissing when trying to tell somebody that they like them.

which is slightly different than asking if you are datING because it sounds less presumptuous.
i mean one kiss doesn't automatically mean dating, i just asked because i thought it might have sparked a discussion which then lead to dating.
