At least, the fact that she's facing up against one of those swarming blue bugs seems to indicate that she is in a battle. But really, she doesn't look too bothered by it. She looks pretty happy right now actually, but then again when is she not happy?]

[She scampers over to the Surskit, quickly closing the distance between them and...kinda...flops on it, beaming happily.]

[Yes, John, it's downright adorable. And surprisingly, the flop attack was actually enough to finish it off.]

Good job, girl I knew you coul-- [His voice tapers off as Casey starts to glow with that all-too-familiar evolutionary light. Yup, two months of constant spoiling babying singing to dancing with brushing their fur every night love will do that to a Buneary, but hell if John knows about happiness evolutions. Nope.]

[Guess who's never seen a Lopunny before, guys? It's a shame those of you watching the feed can't see his face right now, it's a pretty humorous combination of disbelief and shock with a dash of abject horror mixed in there. Casey doesn't seem to notice though, as she is far more interested in examining all the changes that have occured to her body thanks to her evolution. Satisfied with what she sees, she closes her eyes and starts bouncing up and down excitedly, clapping her paws together and grinning as best as a Lopunny can. Can you see all those hearts and sparkles? Because I can. Suddenly, Casey is a shoujo-anime heroine.]

[Yeah, this is pretty much like one of the best things that's ever happened to her. She suddenly stops bouncing and opens her eyes, looking straight at the camera, a delighted and excited look on her face. Well actually, she's more interested in the boy holding the camera, but psshh, semantics.]

[And with that, she dashes forward, arms flung out. HUG INCOMING, JOHN...BRACE YOURSELF.............]

Ack! Casey, no, wait! CASEEEYYYY!

[Yeah no. Predictably, John fails to brace himself. The pokégear goes flying as Casey gives her daddy the biggest, bestest tackle-hug in the universe! She is just so excited to finally have arms suitable for doing such things! Before she could only manage to hug ankles and the sides of people's faces, so this is a dream come true for her. Finally, she can properly show everyone her affection. Anyway, have a lovely view of the sky, Johto, until the pokégear hits the ground and the feed cuts out to static.]

[At some point, he manages to get the camera back and turn it on. Casey is still clinging to him, nuzzling her face against his cheek and making lots of cute happy noises. John has a very strained smile on his face. He loves his baby, really he does...but this is just...SO MUCH AFFECTION. WHY CAN'T HE HOLD ALL THIS AFFECTION?]

[When John turns the feed back on, He's sitting on the ground, having his face nuzzled by Casey who is still clinging to him as though they have just finished a glorious reuniting scene from one of John's shitty movies. Oh...it's you. :/ Yeah, you're still not his favorite person, Scratch.]

[[She thought for sure he said he'd be out here. For once the blond isn't here to work him to death, or lecture him on battling, or teaching him strategy or anything. Actually, she has a bag in hand of what looked like what could be, perhaps, food. Guile is skipping along on one side, while a very satisfied looking Flaffy is wandering along the other as they continue searching for the boy.

And that's when Halos spots her.

Yes, her. Does he notice the boy they are looking for underneath that Lopunny? Not at all. At this point in time, all he sees is Casey, and then pretty soon he's frantically looking around himself, inspecting everything, quickly combing the grass around them for something. Something to give--and there he finds it.

Carefully picking a single, pretty pink flower from out of the grass, he dashes past Rose and Guile - which catches her attention and turns it towards the trainer and his Pokemon - and shyly approaches the two.

U-Uhm. Uhm. H-Hi. I'm Halos. What's yo--]]

There you are John! I see you've been training Casey.

[[She's standing at your head now, John, giving you an all too bemused smirk. Halos, meanwhile, wilts as he is cut off.]]

Yup, that is...definitely a thing that I have been doing. Training Casey. Yup.

[His precious baby is a playboy bunny, Rose. He's still not sure what to think of this. He's still kind of in shock.]

[Casey, meanwhile, ceases showing John her loves for a moment as she hears Halos's stuttered greeting. She looks over at him and tilts her head, giving him a curious look. What?]

Well yeah, but that's a Beedrill. They evolve quick because they can't really do much as a Weedle or a Kakuna. Same with Caterpie. This just seems like a really early level...oh well.
