He just doesn't really care because the conversation he's having with his Sandile is far more important, obviously. A prank? I've never heard a prank that involves saying "nak" all the time.

Well it's kind of a long story, but the short version is that Dave has some crocodiles back home and they say nak all the time and it's generally kind of annoying. I mean they say other stuff too, they can speak English, but nak is kinda like their catch phrase I guess. So whenever Dave finally shows up in Johto again, I will give him Nakadile here. He will think that he is just getting a normal pokemon and be all grateful that I took care of the little guy for him while he was away. [He grins mischievously.] And then the nakking will start.

I've never heard of crocodiles that could do that, but it certainly sounds like something that would drive a person crazy, especially if he hears enough of it at home.

Maybe you could teach him to saying other things too.

Possibly. But if this time is anything like the last two, Dave will be back in no time. At this point I am beginning to wonder if we will even get nak down in time. This is a lot harder than you would think.
