[Hello everyone, what are you up to this fine summer evening? Out training perhaps? Playing with your Pokémon? Sitting down to a delicious dinner? Maybe doing a little shopping before all the stores close?]

[Aren't glitches fun?]

[John has no idea what's going on, one minute he was in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Rose and the next, he's lord only knows where with whoever "you" happen to be. Not that "you" aren't good company, and all! But it's kind of rude to leave your significant other in the middle of a date. But the worst part?]

[It keeps happening.]

[Whatever is doing this isn't content to let him stay in one place for very long. He keeps disappearing and reappearing with a quiet "zap!" every few of minutes, sometimes appearing back at the restaurant and other times appearing someplace else entirely. Dammit, can't a guy just eat in peace? This is terrible.]

[Why on Earth did he box that weird Pokémon he caught last night... better yet, why did he catch it at all?!]

Oh. Well that would... actually be pretty cool. It would certainly make traveling easier.

Of course I have! [He pats the left pocket of his pants with a satisfied smile.] Her present has been taken care of for at least a month now! What kind of fiance would I be otherwise?

Uh... In the beginning? Saffron. But I have been here and there and everywhere since then. Mahogany, Violet, Celadon, Goldenrod... probably a few other places I am forgetting about here and there.

Haha, I guess I agree with that. I don't know if I would word it as Alice in Wonderland but definitely not...slinky cocktail dresses or anything like that.

Like I said though, they both are very nice so you really can't go wrong either way.

[Mayu's face shifted from a blank look to a rather annoyed one as she lightly tapped the book in her hand onto the Zoroark's head, which prompted the pokemon to change back into her usual foxy self.]

He is an acquaintance, you two. Leave him alone. [She motions a shooing motion with her hand.] Go on, shoo.

[The Zoroark grumbled as she and the Eevee crawled away into the other room. After the two left the room, Mayu offers a hand to help the boy up.]

[ He's waving water everywhere, things just got worse. ]

[ She scrambles for a pile of white fabric, somewhere anywhere to stop the blood dripping from her finger. She just wanted a quiet afternoon. ]

Oh yeah, she is, thankfully. She knows it's not my fault and I know it's not my fault but I still can't help but feel bad, you know?

[He keeps leaving her alone and that's terrible. It's hard not to feel bad even though everyone knows he can't really control it.]

But hmm... It's literally impossible to go wrong with something eeveelution or tentacle themed when it comes to Rose. [He taps his chin, glancing around the shelves once again and waiting for something to pop out at him.] Nothing too big though, I have no idea where I am headed after this and the last thing I want to do is lose it somewhere along the way.

[So probably something that will fit in his pocket, basically.]

Okay, okay! Backing up, yeah! [He does as asked, scooting back to what he hopes is a safe distance where he's not going to drip on things. He's fortunately had a bit of time to air dry but...] Sorry! Again!

[He takes her hand, pulling himself to his feet and brushing himself off. Thank god, somebody who's calm about this. It feels like it's been a while since he encountered one of those...]

I uh... well the thing is I didn't exactly mean to? I can't control the zapping, basically it's just more Johto weirdness. Don't worry, I'll be out of your hair in a few minutes.

[For some reason, Mayu felt kind of hurt that John wasn't really here to visit her but hey, its not like she was really expecting any company right?]

[Oh no Mayu don't feel bad no. No he feels bad enough about basically everything about this already without other people feeling bad too.]

Oh..well good! I just... kinda feel like I'm intruding whenever this happens. So I am glad that I'm actually not bothering you. I am on a date right now though! I... have actually been getting that question a lot tonight. It's the shirt isn't it? [He fiddles with his tie, straightening it a little because there's no way it wasn't looking kinda weird after he took that dive to the ground...]

[Mayu's slightly hurt feelings were put to the side when she heard a certain word come out of John's mouth.]

Date? You are on a date? [She's actually curious about this whole dating process, hope you don't mind.] Such as with a girl friend?

That is great to hear. Hopefully whatever this is will clear up soon though. That way you can expand your team. It's weird, it usually doesn't last this long...

Now, generally speaking, if some stranger showed up in his room, Yusuke's first inclination would be to grab them and throw them the hell back out; indeed, even after all the crap he's already put John through, he still entertains the notion of doing just that, if only because he still isn't particularly comfortable with him just hanging around like this. That said, he's not so sure he wants to risk being seen pushing another dude out of his room, so he's just gonna... let John stand there and drip all over the place until whatever glitch that's afflicting him takes over and removes him from the premises. It occurs to him that it would probably be polite to offer him a towel or something in the meantime, but, well, he's gonna need what few towels he has to mop up the floor, and the less visits he has to make to house-keeping, the better.

So yeah. TOO BAD, JOHN. Looks like you're just gonna have to air dry. For the sake of both of them not having to endure a long, awkward silence, though, Yusuke will at least try to make some conversation, shooting John a sideways glance and saying:]

Just telling you, if you need it, I'll go release it for you. Because as much as it's awesome to hang out with you, the way you keep popping up is starting to freak me out. [It's like little Cal the best friend version. If John popped up as a doll, Dave would scream like a three year old when faced with the ground coming up really fast.]

Yeah, that's me. John. But uh... it's not that I haven't tried releasing it so much as every attempt I've made so far has failed. Like I said, things didn't really get screwy until I put it in the box. But every time I make an attempt to get to a Pokécenter, I glitch out before I can reach the box.

[He's beginning to wonder if the damn thing just knows and has been fucking with him this entire time. Somehow it wouldn't surprise him, considering the glitch is taking the form of a Haunter, perhaps one of the most dastardly pranksters known to Pokémonkind.]

Hell, I haven't even made it through the door yet, forget actually reaching the box...
