[Hello everyone, what are you up to this fine summer evening? Out training perhaps? Playing with your Pokémon? Sitting down to a delicious dinner? Maybe doing a little shopping before all the stores close?]

[John has no idea what's going on, one minute he was in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Rose and the next, he's lord only knows where with whoever "you" happen to be. Not that "you" aren't good company, and all! But it's kind of rude to leave your significant other in the middle of a date. But the worst part?]

[It keeps happening.]

[Whatever is doing this isn't content to let him stay in one place for very long. He keeps disappearing and reappearing with a quiet "zap!" every few of minutes, sometimes appearing back at the restaurant and other times appearing someplace else entirely. Dammit, can't a guy just eat in peace? This is terrible.]

[Why on Earth did he box that weird Pokémon he caught last night... better yet, why did he catch it at all?!]

That is great to hear. Hopefully whatever this is will clear up soon though. That way you can expand your team. It's weird, it usually doesn't last this long...

Once, yes. Back in November. It only lasted for three days but it was the same sort of thing: people coming in at random, powers being returned, non-humans gaining their original forms... the whole shebang of craziness.

[Though he doesn't remember parts of it...]

Before that though, there were a few times where suddenly entire weekends just seemed to... vanish? Like... time passed but nobody could remember what they were doing and some people even wound up in a completely different place after the skip. Places it should have taken much longer than three days to reach.

...This place just dropped a dress on my head, I haven't had anything weird happen to me besides that, though.

What, really? Just out of nowhere? Is it a nice dress at least?

I...I guess it is. It might be a little too fancy, I don't know what I would use it for.

[And she digs what looks to be a strapless black dress with an INCREDIBLY ruffly bottom out of her backpack to show him before neatly folding it up and putting it back again.]

Came with gloves, too. It could have dropped something more practical but I guess that's not the way of this world.

Oh. Well it is really pretty! Maybe we will have another prom and you can wear it to that?

But yeah it might be a little too fancy for day-to-day wear. Especially here.

[John is becoming quite the dress expert here.]

[She looks almost like she's never heard of that.]

--Oh wait, you mean like...a party? We never had those at my school, there was only the commemorative functions for the school's anniversary. [And the last one ended in disaster, whooboy.]

Without Soul around, I'd feel a little awkward at a party...

Yeah, exactly! Like a big dance. It was actually a lot of fun. I was homeschooled so I never got the chance to do that sort of thing back home.

Don't think I will let you get out of it if Clair throws another one though! You won't be awkward, I am sure you will have a great time, with or without Soul!
