[Hello everyone, what are you up to this fine summer evening? Out training perhaps? Playing with your Pokémon? Sitting down to a delicious dinner? Maybe doing a little shopping before all the stores close?]

[Well whatever you're doing, no matter how much you are minding your own business, you may soon find yourself with a +1.]

[John has no idea what's going on, one minute he was in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Rose and the next, he's lord only knows where with whoever "you" happen to be. Not that "you" aren't good company, and all! But it's kind of rude to leave your significant other in the middle of a date. But the worst part?]

[It keeps happening.]

[Whatever is doing this isn't content to let him stay in one place for very long. He keeps disappearing and reappearing with a quiet "zap!" every few of minutes, sometimes appearing back at the restaurant and other times appearing someplace else entirely. Dammit, can't a guy just eat in peace? This is terrible.]

[Why on Earth did he box that weird Pokémon he caught last night... better yet, why did he catch it at all?!]

[John's holding a fork with a piece of lettuce speared on the end of it, which is currently halfway to his mouth. Yeah. That's totally appropriate for where he wound up this time. Not at all weird about a guy eating a non-existent salad in the middle of the ladies' department.]

[He forgoes taking that single bite in favor of answering Mom's question.]

Uh... that depends on what you want it for, I guess. You have two very different styles there so it's kind of hard to compare them objectively. Because I am sure that unlike myself and Dave, you can probably pull both of them off and look nice so it's not a matter of picking whichever suits you better. It's a matter of the occasion.

Oh, no, you two are positively adorable in dresses, though I would peg you for more the Alice in Wonderland style.

[Her attention is back on the dresses.]

True. Sadly, I doubt I'd get much use out of this black dress, in that case.

Haha, I guess I agree with that. I don't know if I would word it as Alice in Wonderland but definitely not...slinky cocktail dresses or anything like that.

Like I said though, they both are very nice so you really can't go wrong either way.

I would suggest gothic lolita, but I think Rosie and Davie have more of the attitude for it.

It doesn't hurt to have a casual dress, and I sadly lack that in my wardrobe. With luck, I'll be able to pay for it before I go poof off into another place.

Haha, I think Rose would disagree with you on that point since that's what she picked for me first. Or maybe she was just letting her own tastes impact her decision. I can't say I ever really asked.

If not, maybe you can send the payment as a transfer. I'm sure if you call and explain, the store clerk will be understanding. YOu know...just in case you poof out too early.

Just hide out in the forest, they seem to be bad at finding people there, haha.

Oh no, trust me you don't want this. Like this is the last thing you want, really. The damn thing would probably teleport you straight to the police headquarters just because that's exactly what you don't want.

From what I can tell so far, this seems to be how they operate.

By the way, where were you before winding up here?

Oh um... I was out at dinner with Rose. Today is our two year anniversary, hence the uh... [He gestures vaguely to his ensemble.] Yeah.

Hopefully I will be going right back there after this but with my luck, who really knows.

Ohhh, congratulations! Well, perhaps when this all dies down, you two can have another dinner without interruptions?

Haha, well if I can't get this under control soon then that may end up being what we have to do. Because I can text her all I want, but it's really not the same as actually sitting across from her and having a real conversation.

[He laughs a little, but before either of them get the chance to say anything else, John disappears with another ZAP!]
