[Hello everyone, what are you up to this fine summer evening? Out training perhaps? Playing with your Pokémon? Sitting down to a delicious dinner? Maybe doing a little shopping before all the stores close?]

[Well whatever you're doing, no matter how much you are minding your own business, you may soon find yourself with a +1.]



[Aren't glitches fun?]

[John has no idea what's going on, one minute he was in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Rose and the next, he's lord only knows where with whoever "you" happen to be. Not that "you" aren't good company, and all! But it's kind of rude to leave your significant other in the middle of a date. But the worst part?]

[It keeps happening.]

[Whatever is doing this isn't content to let him stay in one place for very long. He keeps disappearing and reappearing with a quiet "zap!" every few of minutes, sometimes appearing back at the restaurant and other times appearing someplace else entirely. Dammit, can't a guy just eat in peace? This is terrible.]

[Why on Earth did he box that weird Pokémon he caught last night... better yet, why did he catch it at all?!]

[Well.
Vanille was in her room, with her Vanillite and Bagon. She would have more out, but her third Pokemon...

Well... uh. It wouldn't let her withdraw others. Vanille didn't know why, though! She was also kind of stuck in her room.

So, when she notices somebody, she lets out a little gasp, looking away from her... crafts project? The glitchy pile of Pokemon in front of her is covered in ribbons and beads of all colours.]
And when did you get there, Mister?
[She says, with a bit of a playful pout. Things have been odd in this room all day.]

[It was only a matter of time before he ended up running into somebody he didn't know. Just think about the sheer number of people in Johto, it would be unbelievable if it didn't happen at least once.]

[That doesn't mean it's not kind of awkward though. But at least it's a meeting to remember.]

Uh...about five seconds ago. [He glances around the room, spotting the door and giving Vanille an apologetic smile.] Ah. I will just show myself out, sorry about this. I am not entirely sure what's going on right now but I can't seem to stay in one place.

Wellll... I've been a bit lonely! You can stay, Mister Sneak! [Vanille says, as she looks back to her glitchpile.] Ever since taking in Veh, I've been stuck in here, and none of my friends have been able to enter either.
[She can't even get to her PC. But then she looks back to him, with a smile.]
What's the special occasion, then?

[John pauses midstep.]

Stuck in here? Like... in invisible walls sort of deal? Because that's the second time I have heard that now.

Special occasion?

Mhm! When I stand, it's more like... there's a maze around here, and there's no exit near the door, so... I'm trapped! Pitch and Lightning can't get in, either.
[Pout - but then she gestures to his clothes.]
You're dressed rather fancy for just a normal teleporter! So, what's up?

[ghostytrainer]

Oh! Oh this? [He tugs at his shirt a little.] I am on a date right now and I am not actually a teleporter! This is just as weird for me as it is for everyone else I keep interrupting.

But back to what you said earlier. This maze started after you caught that... [He stares at her ribbon'd glitch.] What is that, exactly?

Oh! So, you've got a girlfriend, then? That's so wonderful! [Vanille gives a big smile, with a bit of a happy grunt.] You should let her know you're teleporting like this - it'd just be rude not to!
[Vanille looks to Veh - should she tell this stranger what she thinks this is? They have the same Brand...
No, she'll hide that.]
This is Veh - she's one of my Pokemon! I found her on the beach, but when I caught her, we both ended up in here! The Pokedex wouldn't tell me much, but she seems really strong!

Plus, she gets us food while we're stuck in this home.

Hehe, fiancée, actually! [He raises his left hand to show a silver band inlaid with three small diamonds.] But yeah, she definitely already knows about this. I have been keeping her updated as I continually leave the restaurant for parts unknown.

[This is seriously like his seventh random zapping or so. He's probably going to stop keeping count.]

I see... um. Hm. So she's completely unaffected by whatever this weirdness that keeps you room trapped is?
