[Hello everyone, what are you up to this fine summer evening? Out training perhaps? Playing with your Pokémon? Sitting down to a delicious dinner? Maybe doing a little shopping before all the stores close?]

[Aren't glitches fun?]

[John has no idea what's going on, one minute he was in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Rose and the next, he's lord only knows where with whoever "you" happen to be. Not that "you" aren't good company, and all! But it's kind of rude to leave your significant other in the middle of a date. But the worst part?]

[It keeps happening.]

[Whatever is doing this isn't content to let him stay in one place for very long. He keeps disappearing and reappearing with a quiet "zap!" every few of minutes, sometimes appearing back at the restaurant and other times appearing someplace else entirely. Dammit, can't a guy just eat in peace? This is terrible.]

[Why on Earth did he box that weird Pokémon he caught last night... better yet, why did he catch it at all?!]

Oh you met him too, huh? I mean I didn't meet him but apparently he was bothering a lot of my friends, not just you. But anyway,

[But yes,not important. Even John realizes this.]

With how weird things have been it's possible she hasn't been able to respond? I guess what I'm saying is, try not to be too angry about it until you get the whole story. Because if a friend pulls a dramatic 180 reveal like that out of nowhere? Chances are something is up.

[She just shakes her head sharply and clutches more tightly to her razorbird.]

I'm not so sure. Not to mention I haven't been able to find her, and Sasuke's 'gear keeps giving me a weird 'cannot be reached' message.

[John sighs quietly, shifting his hands from Tenten's shoulders to give her a quick hug which he's really hoping isn't going to freak her out and make them crash and die or something.]

It will all sort itself out in the end, just you wait. Everything will be ok-- fuck.

[By now he's gotten pretty good at realizing when he's about to glitch out. He can feel it coming and thinking that Tenten probably doesn't want to come along for the ride, John quickly lets go of her before, sure enough...]

anyway, like i said i bet it will all work out okay in the end.
i'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of what's happening with you and yumi and sasuke.
if you need to talk about it more though, don't hesitate to call alright? :)

[She goes still at the hug, half-thinking that he's holding on more tightly because he has to so he won't fall off. By the time she realizes what he's doing and starts to relax into it, he's already letting go.]

Wha--?!

[Zap, and there he goes. It's suddenly a lot quieter (and lonelier) than before.]
