[Yup, here's John. On Route 32. Again. Training his Wooper. Again. His newly-evolved Pidgeotto is sitting on his shoulder looking very pleased with himself, preening his feathers like he is just the coolest motherfucker around. Flighty Broad is lock in a very intense battle with an Ekans and appears to be winning!]
[And one well-place Mud Bomb attack later, the Ekans is down! Another victory forFlighty Broad Rose! And it seems as though that battle provided the last bit of experience the little Wooper needed to reach level 20! WHOOOSSSSHHHH!! EVOLUTION!!!]
Awesome! Way to go Rose!
[He leans over a bit and offers the Quagsire a "high-five," to which she gives him a look that plainly says: "are you quite serious, John?" She then walks behind him and gives him a sharp tap to the back of his knees, causing him to fall flat on his ass and Tripp to fly off his shoulder indignantly. Wow it's a good thing the video feed wasn't on for that!]
Ow! Hey! What're you--
[And now that she can reach it, she's rooting through his backpack with wild abandon. Finally she finds what she's looking for: his trainer manual, which she is now carrying away. She sits down and leans against a rock, opens the book and begins...reading it.]
[John turns on his video feed with a dumbfounded look on his face. Those who are just tuning in may wonder why he's on the ground this time, but that's not the issue he wants to address here. In fact, he'd rather not talk about that at all.]
Okay...does anyone know if this... [He turns the camera so that anyone who's watching can see the Quagsire who is completely engrossed in the trainer's manual at this point. He then turns the camera back to himself.] ...is normal? Do all...Quagsires do this? [Yeah he had to look in the pokédex real quick for that one.] Can pokémon even read!? What am I looking at here?!
[He clicks the feed off and gets to his feet, brushing himself off. Hopefully somebody would have the answers to that. For now, there was something else he needed to take care of. He raised the pokégear once more and called Dave. Hopefully the coolkid had had enough time to cool off by now.]
Hey, it’s me. Look, I’m really sorry about what happened the other day, and I’m even sorrier for the argument we got into last night. That was stupid. So…yeah I guess I’m just really sorry. And I hope you’re not still mad at me.
[Please don’t be mad at him anymore Dave. He was had to go spend the night at Rose’s again last night because he was so scared that you were still mad at him. And it was so much more awkward when the others weren’t there!]

Video;
She was a Wooper before, was she not? Er. Rose. That is.
[[That will never not be awkward.]]
Video;
But yeah, she was. So, I guess this is what Dave...er...Insufferable Prick will evolve into then.
[So incredibly awkward...why did they think naming pokémon after their friends would be a good idea? Why!?]
Video;
Yes, that would seem to be the case. Hopefully he matures a little once he does so.
Video;
Maybe.
[He really doubts it though. This is
DaveInsufferable Prick we're talking about, here.]Video;
H-how did you get out of your Pokeball?!
Video;
[Wooper? What Wooper? Flighty Broad has no time to pay attention to you Insufferable Prick. Her book is far too interesting and you are far too insufferable to be given the time of day. This is her giving you the cold

So Flighty Broad evolved, huh? Looks kinda like that thing she was before. No clue about Quagsires reading, but from what I've seen, Pokémon pretty much act like who they're named after. Terezi likes smacking me in the head, Carcino likes arguing with me, and both Carcino and CG like to watch romcoms. At least they stop being annoying then.
[VIDEO]
[Yup, he notices those bruises.]
So, Dave really wasn't lying about kicking your ass then was he? How'd that go? Is he still mad?
[VIDEO]
I beat him up pretty good, too. I don't just take it without hitting back. But no, he's not mad now.
[VIDEO]
But I guess if he's not mad now then I shouldn't be worried...
[And yet, Dave still hasn't called him back yet. ;_;]

[Beyond that he's got no idea, he's just listening to what the pokédex said here.]
Video;
Wo~ow! That is REALLY gross! If something swims around smashing its head into boulders by mistake, I seriously doubt it can read. It's also covered in boogers or something.
Video;
[Flighty Broad is giving him a look that suggests she'd like to smack him in the head.]

But I mean...come on. This is weird, right?
[Gesturing at the Quagsire again because seriously: what the hell?]
[video]
... Which is even weirder, though.

[video]
... Oh, but I've got a weird Pokémon, too!
