[For once, it's not Casey who's operating the Pokegear today. Oddly enough though, it's also not John either since he's half-visible in the background. He's sitting with his back to the camera, next to what appears to be a bed though it's kind of hard to see what he's doing from this angle. ~~Spoilers, he's doodling on Rose's face while she's unconscious.~~ In any case though, he's clearly not the focus of this broadcast so pay no attention to the boy in the background. He's not as cute as the sweater-wearing Lopunny and scarf-wearing Espeon in the foreground anyway, so this shouldn't be too difficult.]

[Casey seems to be wiggling in anticipation, but doesn't really say or do anything. Once she realizes the camera is on, however, she gives Guile a little nudge. The Espeon flicks her tail and addresses the network psychically.]

Salutations, everyone. While our parents are otherwise occupied, Casey and I decided to draw a little. She, however, has something she would like to share with you all. Daddy has been teaching her how to write, you see.

[Beaming, Casey holds a single piece of paper in front of her:]

She's very proud of herself.

[Casey bounces happily, chittering in agreement. So proud.]

[So what say you, network? Be friends? y/n?]

tentacletrainer) since Casey can only write in the capacity of recognizing letters/numbers and mirroring them, meaning her communication is still limited with humans.))

[The video comes on to show a train wreck of a room. There's a Duskull off to the side with a Deerling attempting to jump up the wall and catch it, a Solosis suspiciously eyeing a Ralts egg that's being buried in pillows by a Bayleef, bicycle horns littering the ground with scuffed up juggling clubs.

And there on the bed is Gamzee sprawled over a mildly annoyed looking Liepard, facepaint only smudged a little off on her fur.]

Aw, look at you two little motherfuckers. Ain't that just motherfucking adorable.

[[Gamzee, her trainer isn't the only one wary of you. Guile was there for that whole incident with her daddy, and so she's not really happy with you. There's some quiet growling on her end.]]

Thank you.

[[But she's nothing if not polite, even if that was a very curt response from her.]]

[Casey tilts her head at the growling. Luckily, she managed to miss the aforementioned incident since that was one of the few times she'd actually been inside her ball. And John hadn't bothered to explain what had happened to him afterwards. He'd just fallen, Casey, it's okay.]

Guile what's wrong?

[She gives her a little pap behind the ear. Guuuurl, why u growling? It's just Gamzee! You remember him! He's cool, if not a little spacey.]

[Gamzee just chuckles, but the Casey and Guile are enough to catch the attention of little Miracle the Deerling. He stops his futile effort of trying to catch the Skullbro and bounds up on the bed, draping his front half over Gamzee to try and get close to the screen of the gear.

He just wants to say hi to some nice Pokemon who aren't total ghosty jerks. Or a jerk of a cat that swats him with her tail at the added weight on her.

Gamzee has to sit up to allow Purrsis to jump off the bed and wander away, she really has no interest in making new friends. Miracle however is all for it perching himself right in front of Gamzee. It's cool, he knows his bro isn't the best at talking to people so he can totally do all the talking for both of them.]

Deer!

[He figures saying hi is a good start, that's what you say when you want to make friends right? Right.

Yeah, he's still pretty young.]

[[Well, at least that and Casey have her calming down a little. There's a short moment where she turns to Casey and quietly mumbles that mommy doesn't trust him, so neither do I, but don't let that color your opinion (because daddy trusts him? Which is weird whatever.), before turning back to the Deerling.]]

Salutations. And who might you be?

[Gamzee's more than content to just lean back on his hands and mind his own business for a sec, glancing over his shoulder to see what the others are doing with that egg while Miracle makes some new friends.

New friends who have just confused him, he tilts his head at that first word there.]

Sal you what? Well I'm Miracle! What about you guys?

She said salutations! It's another word for hi!

[She giggles.]

I am Casey though, and this is Guile. It's nice to meet you, Miracle.

...Why didn't she just say hi?

[He seriously does not understand why someone would make something longer when it doesn't have to be, but oh well.]

You guys too! My bros and sises are jerks, so I'd like to be friends!

[Yeah, Gamzee's just gonna... Set Miracle down with the gear and go dig Solsis and the egg out from under the pile of pillows that Purrsis and Chica the Bayleef are now laying on. The little Deerling doesn't seem to mind at all, makes him feel like he's totally in control now.]

There's nothing wrong with being a little sophisticated in one's speech.

[[Not that the Espeon feels too bothered by the question though.]]

Such are the ways of siblings sometimes. We would be glad to be friends with you.

Her daddy must be proud of her, too. And she's so artistic!

[[At first the Espeon squints a little at the screen. She's seen you before, Jake, but she still doesn't know what your deal is or why you're a clone of her daddy.]]

He is. Very. But daddy is proud of all of us.

[Casey, on the other hand, isn't content just to squint. She looks at Jake, then turns her head to look back at John, thinking that maybe he's pulling some kind of trick. But no, he's still over there on the other side of the room doodling on mommy.]

[What sorcery is this?]

[Who even knows?

This may be the first, and possibly the only, time Jake actually notices those looks they're giving him.]

Something wrong?

[[The Espeon glances at Casey, assuming she must have obviously noticed the similarity as well. Addressing Jake!]]

Not wrong, really, so much as...you just look very simliar to our daddy. We're a little confused!

[Nod nod nod!!]

[What is even up with that?!]

Yes, we've been getting quite a bit of that. Basically, John and I are related.

[In a way....]

[[Guile perks her ears at that.]]

So are you...siblings? Siblings is the right term, yes? Or are you...ah. What's that other one...

I think he would have told us if he had another sibling besides auntie Jade... Wait. Guile... [Despite the fact that Jake can't understand her, she leans in to whisper in the Espeon's ear.] do you think maybe he's daddy's daddy? Wait no...that's that other guy. The one who plays the piano.

[Hmmm...what other human familial relationships are there aside from siblings and parents?]

Mm, no, no we're not siblings. Somewhat biologically speaking, I'd be his dad.

[Oh but...wait, hold on. There's something she's forgetting first! She picks up another piece of paper and scribbles "what is your name?" on it. How silly of her to forget that! That's another sentence she knows and it is very important!]

Oh, how rude of me. I'm sorry!

You're very good at drawing!

*Yes, Imogen is better befriending pokemon than people.*

[Casey giggles and shifts a little, clearly touched by the compliment on her drawing skills.]

Awww hee hee, thank you! I practice lots! Oh um...Guile, Guile! [She nudges the Espeon once again.]

Tell her thank you and that she has a really pretty name! I don't know how to something like write that yet...

[Sob her vocabulary is so limited.]

[[The Espeon is more than happy to translate, giving the Lopunny a little affectionate nudge in return. She flicks her tail a little as she turns back to the screen.]]

Casey would like to say thank you, and tell you that you have a lovely name.

*Imogen nods as the Espeon translates. The Psychic thing is pretty handy.*

*Speaking of, she turns back to the Espeon.*

*Imogen moves the Gear so Omen, her Absol, can take up the video screen.*
Do not get her started, it takes a lot of work to keep her safe when she gets excited. Not to mention she's loud.

[Caseys paws go to either side of her face and she sways a little, smiling and clearly touched by the compliment. Kyaaaa, everyone is so nice and friendly. This is just wonderful.]

You just might be the cutest Pokemon I've ever seen! You're so fluffy! And pretty! Those ears, and those paws, and such big eyes...

[Even the lopunny has better artistic skills than Misak. Her face turns red from embarrassment of this realization.]

I wouldn't mind being friends with you... [She's trying hard to keep calm.

Something caught her eye.] Who's that yellow figure in the corner there? A little crush?

[Casey seems quite happy at the prospect of yet another friend. This friend making thing is so easy, wow!]

[At the crush comment though, she shakes her head. No, that's not quite the right word...hmm. Oh hold on! Grabbing a piece of paper and some crayons, she begins to doodle yet another picture.]

[Ater a minute or so she holds up this. This clears up everything, yes?]

[ Clapping her hands excitedly!! ]

[Casey elbows her way into the frame, eyes wide.]

Oh who's this! Hello there, are you one of Guile's babies?

[Cameron likes playing with the 'gear while his trainer is busy otherwise. At the moment, training actually. But with one of her newer kids. And seeing this post just gets him super excited for so many reasons. So he actually decides to respond, because why not. This is family after all!]

Oh wow, oh wow! Can I learn how to do that too! That would be so cool to show off!
