When it's this fucking cold, there's only 'completely warm' and 'where did my balls go, oh wait, they retreated back up inside me, white flags waving like Frenchmen.' Seeing as how 'completely warm' requires at least two sleeping bags, a Torchic and a Ninetales, this qualifies as the latter.

[ Even as he speaks, he's side-eyeing the room for any sign of a sizeable pile of blankets. ]

[There might be a blanket somewhere around here, sure. But for now? For now how about Lopunny hugs? Because Casey feels like hugging you right now, Uncle Dave. She's not a fire type but...hey. She's fuzzy and warm and that counts for something.]

[John chuckles a little at that, closing the door once they're all inside again.]

[ Dave shifts Guile against his shoulder and puts an obliging arm around Casey. It's hard not to be in a good mood, with a crew like this. ]

I'm a cold-blooded beast. I need heat lamps and sunshine to survive. Shit, someone should buy me a heat lamp....

It's a shame you didn't say something sooner! We could have gotten you that for your birthday instead. Oh well. But hey, I know what to get you for Christmas now!
