i am curious.
for the tournament next month, how are you picking your team?
not asking what you picked specifically, just the thought process behind it.
is it better to go with your strongest or your favorites?
or do you have a different game plan entirely?
it's a lot harder narrowing it down to just three than i thought it would be.
i know there's still plenty of time and i don't have to decide TODAY but the sooner the better, right?

how did i not think of that?
i have a hard time seeing any of my highest leveled ones saying no, but still...i should have thought to do that before anything else.
going to have to fix that.
using one type works for gym leaders though.
part of me is tempted to try it but at the same time, getting matched up against someone with their weakness would kind of screw me.

There aren't any types that don't have any sort of weakness, so you probably will want to see about their moves too.

I'm slightly nervous, since I haven't challenged any gyms yet but I threw myself into this... (´・_・`)
text.
some of my newer favorites aren't as strong as the ones i have had since the beginning, which is to be expected but still...
and i am also coming to realize that i have kind of a bad typing skew with my level 100s. i never really noticed it until just now because i have never had to prepare for a fight where i could potentially be going against a wide type variety.
not a serious one, anyway, i mean my friends and i battle each other for experience a lot but that's just for shit and giggle's sake.
don't be nervous though, this is good practice!
if you can hold your own in something like this, then the gyms will be a breeze. :D

Well, even if you like a certain type, maybe you could counter the other ones by having a good variety of move-types? Like, my Grass-type knows Earthquake, so I won't be completely helpless when someone tries to counter me with a Fire-type Pokemon.

I've got a special little trick planned for two of my teams that'll make any trainer I fight want to tear their hair out.

type coverage is where i am having the most trouble. a lot of my strongest are the same types.
as tempting as it is to try and go gym leader mode with it, that's kind of a scary prospect.

Heck, some Gym Leaders are a pain. I had to fight Sabrina twice because of her Wobbuffet. You'll probably be fine if you play your cards right.

D--> Or those you wish to become STRONG
D--> Assuming you possess a sufficient quantity of Pokebeasts
D--> I have entered my entire team
D--> Across several of the offered brackets
[text]
sometimes i think i have too many, to be honest.
but i think there are more aspects to consider here than just strength.
i didn't realize we could enter more than one bracket though!
Re: [text]
D--> And I presume you speak of elemental typings
D--> Such considerations are obviously important, but I would assume that the STRONGNESS of the beasts in question would form the basis of your sele%ion

Is that not the obvious choice?
Sending out Pokemon that hold no interest in that sort of thing is bound to end in failure.
One must have a reason to do battle after all.

then what do you do?
