[Since John was finally starting feel a little better (his voice was still a little messed up but hey, at least that cough was finally gone) he decided that this was as good a time as any to do a little training with the Wooper Dave gave him last week.

So he's on route 32, standing in a patch of grass with a disheartened look on his face. His Dunsparce is sitting on his head looking derpy as usual and his Buneary is rolling around happily in the grass a few inches away. Apparently he still doesn't fully understand the concept of keeping all his pokémon in their pokéballs.]

[His Wooper though...is supposed to be fighting a Mareep, although that's not what's happening.]

Rose, please...use mud shot.

[The Wooper ignores him with a very bored look on her face. This has been going on for the past five minutes, even the wild Mareep isn't sure what to make of this at this point.]

Rose...pleeeaaaassseeeee. I am begging you. Do...something! Anything!

[Woop. She is so bored by all of this. John is past the stage of disheartened now and now entering the realm of utter soul-wrenching despair.]

...Flighty Broad...Please. Use. Mud shot.

[The Wooper complies, and then continues the rest of the fight without her master's direction as he had sunk to his knees in defeat. It's really tough to say whether there has been a victory here or not.]

[omg omg other Pokémon! Vespasien sort of hops up and down, squeaking excitedly.]

Yup, that's me. [He holds out his hand, because this is the nice thing to do and he has no idea who he's dealing with here.]

[Sassacre just...stares at the hopping Weedle. Then he flaps his little wings and kind of...hovers up and down. He's probably excited but it's really hard to tell.]

[He reminds her of Sora even more in person and it kind of makes her want to punch him in the face. She plays along instead, keeping the handshake as brief as possible.]

Heard you guys beat us to Violet.

[Ampoule is watching the wigglers, looking much like she'd facepalm if she were physically capable.]

Did we? I remember saying one of your friends was preventing you from leaving...so I guess it wouldn't surprise me if we did.

Yeah, the guy we were waiting on caught up.

[Getting through the blizzard sucked, but she's out of Cherrygrove! Finally caught an electric-type! And she got to ruin Eridan's day in person!]

Well that's good. Did you get stuck in that blizzard then? That...wasn't much fun. And by much, I mean it was no fun. None at all.

[If only he was having as good a time as she was! He was sick for a week! His own Gastly pranked him! And he's feeling a lot of -stuff- that he doesn't know how to deal with!]

Luxord's starter is a fire-type so things worked out okay.

[By which she really means it was a miserable trip. She tried to remind herself that it was still less painful than getting keybladed to death, but she's not sure she believed herself. ~~did that even make sense, I should probably go to bed~~

Well that was lucky. We had someone with a firetype in our group too...but there were so many of us that it wasn't really that much help.

[It's okay, the trip sucked for him too.]

There were...seven of us. Wow, how did we manage to beat you guys? Seems like you would have had an easier time than we did...

[Especially considering the fact that they had Gamzee and Eridan in their party.]

[To be fair, if it weren't for the weather Larx would probably be worse.]

...Yeah there was that too. My traveling partner [Read: Vriska.] was the same way, so I got a double dose of it. Both of them were pretty, uh...persistent.
